Tomorrow I have to take my oldest son to visit a comprehensive school. I thought it was parents only, but it seems the whole evening is geared out for Septembers newcomers. My oldest son will have the choice of attending this school or a special educational needs school to cope with his problems. Amongst other things, he has Aspergers syndrome which is being highlighted on tv at the moment in "Waterloo road". So far this programe isn't boosting my confidence towards conventional schooling. We'll have to see. I also need to attend slinning class and take my oldest boy to his kickboxing lesson. Pity I couldn't divide this big body tnto two people.

Teachers help.
@ 2007-10-18 – 12:03:01
I spent an hour yesterday helping out in my oldest child's art class . I only asked to stay to save the journey home and back within an hour. My son needed his after school medication, otherwise I would not have been there at all. I was asked to get stuck in and help the kids. Start them off with thier watercolouring. It was a nice thing for me to do. The children and the teacher are so warm and welcoming.Next week I will be there again to have more fun.
Now I am in the middle of cleaning up my desk and workspace. I've taken a break, a well earned rest whilst I have the peace and quiet. Hubby's off work, so he's sorting out the kids today. They've taken FIL to the hospital now for a routine check up.
WHAT IS A TAG?
